A couple of years ago I participated in a Resilience First Aid course, facilitated by Bjelkie Lansdown from BLMC. I realised how beneficial it was for enhancing my ability to recognise, understand, and strengthen my own resilience as well as providing me with the knowledge to better support my family and friends during their challenging times. Following this course, I reached out to Bjelkie to collaborate on a shorter program aimed at improving the mental health of community volunteers supporting victims of severe trauma. Bjelkie has been fantastic to work with and her knowledge and passion on this subject is evident in the way she presents these courses.
